An evening of powerful music and meaningful impact is coming to Brecon this May, as Calon Hearts brings a special musical theatre concert to the stunning setting of Brecon Cathedral.
“I Dreamed a Dream”, featuring stars from the West End production of Les Misérables, will take place on Wednesday 20 May 2026 at Brecon Cathedral, offering audiences the chance to experience some of the most iconic songs from musical theatre in a truly unique and atmospheric venue.
Set against the backdrop of one of Wales’ most beautiful cathedrals, the concert promises an unforgettable night for theatre lovers, music fans and anyone looking for a special evening out.
The event is being held in support of Calon Hearts, a Welsh charity dedicated to preventing young sudden cardiac death through heart screening, CPR training and the placement of defibrillators in communities.
Every week in the UK, at least 12 young people die from undiagnosed heart conditions, often with no symptoms or warning signs. Through events like this, Calon Hearts continues to raise vital funds to support its lifesaving work across Wales.
