Afon Mel – New Quay Honey Farm hamper competition
New Quay Honey Farm began through a family love of beekeeping over twenty years ago. We now have over 500 hives here in Ceredigion, producing our honey and mead here on our farm. We are devoted to bees & honey and our mission is to produce top quality products at an honest price now under the Afon Mel brand.
‘We believe at New Quay Honey farm we can create healthier food, healthier people, and ultimately a healthier planet.
Designed for those who desire a harmonic relationship with nature, as opposed to a destructive one, our bee farm aims to provide organic, nutritious, high-quality raw honey and mead products to the community and world-wide.’
For nearly 20 years here at the honey farm we have had a Meadery, and produced a great range of meads, we just didn’t ever really tell anyone about it but now with Afon Mel it is different.
That’s all changing now as Afon Mel (the name the mead and honey is sold under) have launched their own Website, showcasing one companies obsession with Bees, Honey, things made with honey and MEAD.
Now with more flavours than ever and some exciting new ones in the pipeline the Afon Mel Meadery is growing all the time supplying mead all over the country. Soon to be also selling mead from other meaderys we think its time to bang the drum a little!!
So to help spread the word a bit and to help a lucky person through the festive season one way or another………… Afon Mel & Welsh Country are having a competition!
