St Gertrude’s Primary School is about as unremarkable as you can get. It’s the kind of school you’d walk past every day and not even notice, nothing interesting ever happens there…until the children go on strike to get chips with their lunch. Desperate to prevent all out mutiny the hapless Headteacher puts a job advert in the local paper, and some unusual chefs take up their posts, lighting a fuse that only one unlikely hero can put out!

Following the incredible success of 2024s The Wind In The Willows, Torch Youth Theatre returns with a rip-roaring comedy adventure that’s bound to make your evening go with a bang!
