Fresh Yoghurt Maker Box from EasiYo

I love my yogurt, but when trying different brands and I’m often doing that, I am always reading their labels just to see what companies have put in each pot! So I was delighted to be told about EasiYo fresh yoghurt and that they had a starter box. Well as a yoghurt addict, I couldn’t resist giving this a try. In the box you get:

  • 1 x Yoghurt Maker – there’s a choice of colours too.
  • 1 x 1kg Jar.
  • 1 x Temperature Strip.

This box makes 1kg of yoghurt.

Now this is so simple to make and importantly for me there are no artificial ingredients. Using fresh live yoghurt cultures and a source of calcium and protein. It is suitable for vegetarians, its gluten free and tastes so deliciously creamy. The jar is reusable so no waste there. There are over a billion live active cultures in every serving, including Acidophilus.

I was able to make fresh and delicious yogurt with my EasiYo yogurt maker in my own home. I thought it might be complicated to use but I was wrong it is so simple. It took me a few minutes to prep my yogurt and then the yoghurt magic happens naturally overnight. I felt good about making my own homemade yoghurt with EasiYo. My first flavour was strawberry and it was lovely to enjoy the taste of fresh summertime strawberries which I now can do all year round. The family loved this smooth and sweet yoghurt for breakfast, we also tried it for a snack and for lunch and then dished it up as a dessert for after dinner.

As there are no artificial colours, stabilisers or preservatives and it is packed with over a billion live cultures from my first serving. Unflavoured, unsweetened and low fat bases, EasiYo brings nothing but beautiful yogurt flavour, so without a doubt this is most certainly a winner for me.

Another huge bonus is that there are no electronic parts or power required, so no searching for a spare plug socket, but after saying that, for ease of use and because the yoghurt maker looks so good it stands on my kitchen island.

Taken from the EasiYo website, here’s how to use:

  • Mix & Fill – Mix EasiYo Yogurt Sachet with Water in the EasiYo Jar. Half fill your yogurt jar with room temperature drinking water (15-20°C). Add the contents of the yogurt sachet, pop on the lid and give it a good shake. Add more water to the jar until it’s about 5mm from the top… pop on the lid and shake again.
  • Heat & Wait – Add boiling water to the Yogurt Maker and place jar inside. Leave to set for 8-12 hours.
  • Push the plastic insert into your yogurt maker as far as it can go. Next, pour boiling water up to the top of the plastic insert. Place your jar into the yogurt maker so it sits on top of the plastic insert, then put the lid on your yogurt maker.
  • Chill – Refrigerate Yogurt until chilled. Then just enjoy. Wait, chill… and eat. You’re all set, now simply wait for the magic to happen! Leave your yogurt maker on your kitchen bench and the yogurt will set after 8 – 12 hours (a little longer for protein yogurt). Most people simply leave it overnight and wake up to fresh homemade yogurt in the morning. You’re nearly there… before you dig in, chill it in the fridge for a few hours to complete the set.
  • Everyday: A variety of yummy fruit and dessert flavours that the whole family will love.
  • Greek Style: Indulgent, thick and creamy yogurt in a range of delicious flavours, for a little taste of luxury in your day.
  • Wellbeing: Unflavoured, unsweetened and low fat bases, bringing you nothing but beautiful yogurt flavour.

Note: Clean your Yogurt Maker by wiping with a damp cloth, do not immerse it in water as this can damage the yogurt maker. All EasiYo Yogurt Maker & Jar plastics are BPA free. The plastic components used in the EasiYo Yogurt Maker and Yogurt jar are made from Food Grade polypropylene, which complies with food contact regulations in Europe and the USA (FDA) and is suitable to withstand boiling water temperatures (softening point) 152°C. This includes all colour pigments used in these containers.
