Archive II Beanie
Regular readers will know that Craghoppers are one of my favourite companies and the reason for that is that their range works as it offers garments that are stylish and practical too, plus their use of recycled materials. So I was pleased to try out this Archive II Beanie which is partly made from recycling plastic bottles into polyester. This is such a clever and sensible idea as it reduces carbon emissions and also landfill waste.
This Craghoppers Archive II is a knitted beanie that has a turned-back band and a branded badge to the front. This advanced insulating layer offers you outstanding warmth and is suitable for a range of activities and is a must for me dog walking. Craghoppers products use the latest technologies to ensure superior insulating properties for the wearer and most people are aware how much body heat is lost if your head isn’t covered. Perhaps if you have an elderly relative or neighbour that is feeling the cold even in their own home, wearing this beanie will certainly help!
The fabric used for this brilliant beanie is 50% acrylic, 50% polyester and don’t forget that about 9 bottles were recycled to make this product, I really do love the idea that plastic bottles, instead of ending up in landfill, can be used by Craghoppers in clothing. Now as if that wasn’t enough to make me happy when I was getting blown about dog-walking on the beach, I realised that all Craghoppers products are Guaranteed For Life, which really does show the confidence the company have in their own range. Plus, if you’re not completely happy with your purchase, you can return unwanted items, using various methods as shown on their website, within 30 days. That really does give you so much confidence when you are ploughing through your Christmas shopping list, worrying will this work for them or not, so don’t forget those 30 days.

Unisex Insect Repellent Adventure Socks
Craghoppers are a very switched-on company as they offer a range of anti-insect treatments to help defend you from biting insects. They are aware that many of their customers are travelling the world and they need clothing that works in all climate conditions. But having said that, you can still get pesky insects biting you in Wales and the UK. Craghoppers anti-insect treatment is built into their fabric, offering defence against biting insects and this lasts for the lifetime of the garment, that still amazes me. I have never thought of socks as clever before, well why would you? But these Insect Repellent Adventure socks certainly are, as they have an anti-Odour elimination technology, NosiLife, which ingeniously captures and neutralises body odours during wear. So you’ll find these socks stay fresher for longer and no-one likes smelly socks!!
I’m sure you’ll love these cotton blend lightweight, breathable socks, remembering that they are anti-insect, anti-odour action and have an elasticated ankle and overfoot support, the sole, toe, heel and ankle are all cushioned, the socks are vented over the foot and also have a double cuff. I am amazed, but not surprised, that Craghoppers have taken such time and trouble creating these super socks, but it has been worth the effort as they are so comfy to wear.
