Welsh Winter Blues by Paul Jasper

January and February have their share of dull days, but for me the gems are those bright, frosty, blue sky days that come along to break up the grey and lift the spirits.

Those are the days that I rearrange work if possible, grab my camera and head off in the hope that luck and opportunity will meet up and join me.

It’s great relaxation therapy and I still enjoy that pleasant feeling when the shutter clicks on a scene that will hopefully make my journey worthwhile.

It’s a pleasant surprise to be asked to submit some more of my photographs. These are scenes from Mid Wales, the area that I travel the most. I hope you enjoy the selection of winter shots emphasising those yearned for bright days. If it’s one of those dull grey days outside while you’re reading this, I hope they will brighten up your day
a little.
