World Famous Whisky Distillery to Visit Local Garden Centre

The Old Railway Line Garden Centre, located in Three Cocks between Brecon and Hay-on-Wye, is excited to announce an upcoming whisky tasting evening. On Friday 14th July, Penderyn Distillery will be hosting an evening delving into the history of Penderyn and samples of several popular spirits.

Retail and Events Manager, Matthew Lewis said:

“We can’t wait for the upcoming Penderyn Tasting Evening which will be a fantastic opportunity for whisky enthusiasts to learn more about Penderyn’s story, taste a number of their most popular whiskies and enjoy food in our popular Railway Restaurant.”

“The evening includes a drink on arrival before Lee from Penderyn delivers a talk about the history of the distillery. Following this you will taste four of their most popular whiskies, whilst learning about each spirit with the opportunity to ask any questions.

“Alongside your whisky tasting, enjoy a sharing platter of food prepared in our Railway Restaurant, including meats, cheeses, olives, crackers and bread, as well as homemade chocolate truffles to complement the final whisky tasting. Tickets are selling fast so be sure to book your table ASAP!”
