I’ve previously tried & tested a water bottle from Super Sparrow, a company that I am now a huge fan of. So when asked to have a look at their insulated travel mug – it was a no brainer! Here’s why:
Super Sparrow products ooze quality which is the first reason I loved this super sleek thermos coffee mug. It is made from 18/10 medical-grade stainless steel. This medical grade of stainless steel is important as it means there is no odour, plus it is heavy metal free, BPA & toxin free so it will not leach harmful chemicals into your favourite drink. Your drink will be kept fresh for about 6 hours. This mug is made from Eco-friendly materials and offers you a modern and stylish look combined with high performance technology, which was all I needed. I found this the easiest way to stay hydrated whilst I was on the move.
Some of you might be old enough to remember the old-fashioned flasks and that when drinks were poured from them often left an ‘odd, stewed’ taste. Another plus point for me with this mug is it has a 3 in 1 Supermix lid which ensures every sip is in control, so all you have to do is simply press the Autoclick button, the spout is then automatically sealed when the button is released. In the past I’ve struggled with some travel mugs when you get either a very large mouthful or you get nothing at all. This travel mug also has a double lock setting, by sliding the button safety lock to the locked position, this ensures the drinking valve cannot accidentally open, another relief as I’m sure you like me, have had mugs that leak, no matter how careful you are.
Vacuum Insulation Technology I have learnt is that the vacuum cuts off the convection and conduction of heat, so that your liquid delays heat dissipation which leads to long term heat preservation and helps retain the mellow aroma of your coffee.
Fans of Super Sparrow will be aware that all their bottles and mugs are ultralight and durable as the inner walls are 26% lighter, this is because of innovative Swivel Thinning Technology, but this doesn’t ever compromise the sturdiness or durability of this mug.
Now my final worry with travel bottles and mugs is that they are often hard to clean, but I did try cleaning this one by hand and it wasn’t a problem, but if you are lazy like me they can also be put in your dishwasher. There are three sizes available, 350ml, 500ml and 690ml and with plenty of contemporary colours to choose from.
I’ve tried and tested the Super Sparrow travel mug and the bottle, as an avid dog walker and I now cannot leave home without either of them because I’m now confident that my coffee-on-the-go will be as fresh and tasty as when I first made it. Obviously the Super Sparrow mugs and bottles will enhance many peoples’ lives, whether you are an avid hill walker, a gym bunny or a parent stood on the touchline watching the children playing soccer for their team. I also think the mug would be ideal for the elderly or those living alone as the mug will keep drinks hot for 6 hours, I’m sure that will be useful for many people.
