The boots that I tested are a serious pair of boots and as I now understand about the ethos of OBOZ, this filled me with confidence knowing that these boots are constructed from the ground up. I loved the OBOZ description for the Sawtooth X Mid Waterproof, saying that it was like a supreme pizza for your feet as it has all the fixings – I understood exactly what they meant after giving these boots some seriously good work outs. The X means this pair have extra height and this gave me great support for my dodgy ankle, to the added support with its Adaptive Cushioning Technology midsole, plus a smooth ride to its B-DRY waterproof and breathable technology, this factor was so important for me as there is nothing worse than even damp feet, let alone wet feet, I really cannot bear to have wet and then obviously cold feet! These boots have a proprietary rubberized EVA that adapts to varying terrain which was greatly appreciated. They have a clever and unique blend of dual density and the lightweight cushioning system provides the wearer with a high level of energy efficiency and a softer heel strike landing zone. These boots have been constructed using high tenacity fibre technologies, weight for weight, CORDURA® AFT fabrics are exceptionally durable, which is just what we all need from our boots.
I’m sure like me, many of you will also be pleased to learn that these boots are available in larger sizes, as finding boots in larger has often been an issue for me. It is totally senseless to wear and struggle with boots that make your feet feel uncomfortable and quite often wet. You need boots to be supportive to your feet and ankles whatever terrain you are tackling and this is just how this terrific pair did for me. These boots really did tick all my footwear boxes and I can assure you I am very fussy about my foot comfort – I am sure that these boots will last me for years and my feet will certainly be most grateful!
