I’d always thought of myself as smart, but that was until I bought a smartphone! That phone then for some weird reason, didn’t make me feel smart but simply exasperated and frustrated! Although I didn’t grow up with technology I have taught myself to use a desktop computer, a laptop and a tablet and I use these on a regular basis. So why smartphones don’t gel with me is a mystery when all I want and need is technology in a phone that is easy to access and actually user-friendly, why has that been so difficult for me? The phones I’ve bought in the past have had very few instructions as to how they work, they’ve been too complicated, confusing and frustrating as I kept getting myself ‘lost’ with my old phones. Despite searching I could never find a smartphone that was simple and clear to use but still came with lots of features. Well dear readers I am so pleased to tell you that Easology have come to my rescue with the Samsung Galaxy A16 Easology and to be honest I cannot believe that at long last I now feel as smart as my smartphone! Easology have partnered with Samsung to create the Samsung Galaxy A16 Easology, putting the user first and foremost and by that I mean it really is easy-to-use. They have not neglected all the features I need, it is clear to use but doesn’t lose out on the performance front. One of the first brilliant features I found was that there was a dedicated ‘Home button which meant if I did get lost I could instantly and easily get taken back, without having to wander, scroll around and lose my limited patience.
So let me explain further and start with the real but much-needed basics as this phone comes with a 141 page booklet with pictures/diagrams. Before you panic, let me just say that this booklet is probably the clearest and most comprehensive guide for any item I have bought in the past and that’s not just for smartphones. Obviously you don’t need to sit down and study the 141 pages, just dip in and out whenever you need to. This guide will help you to get the most out of your smartphone, but in your own time. For any additional help there is a helpline so here you have an easy-to-use phone as well as support in the form of humans!
Now let’s take a closer look at this Samsung Galaxy A16 Easology and I’ll start with the home screen which you are able to personalise to give quick calling to four favourite contacts, gosh I loved that feature, as this is how to make life easy and straightforward. I dislike it when my old phones would ‘die’ after a few hours, so pleased that this battery lasted me all day, plus it is fast to charge. The audio is also clear and the actual handset design is sleek, a size of 6.7” with a super AMOLED touchscreen. It feels comfortable in your hand with a size of: h 16.4 cm, w 7.8 cm, d 0.8 cm. This phone operates on 4G and is compatible with all networks, plus it comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. Now I’d never rate myself as a photographer, but even I got such super pics with the front camera, 13MP and the rear camera at 50MP.
This Samsung Galaxy A16 Easology comes in an all-in-one bundle so you get everything you need in the one box, which certainly makes sense to me and it is ready to use as the set-up has been done for you. Along with the phone there is the user guide, a charger, a protective cover, a stylus a SIM card, or of course you can use your own SIM if you prefer. This phone also comes with its own SIM ejector tool to you have no need to search for a paper clip! Unlike many phone companies Easology have a UK call-centre support, so it is great to have them there if you need additional help. I think many people will appreciate the digital magnifier, the clear layouts and its sensible large displays with bold icons and text that is easy to read. That was another bonus for me as I didn’t even need my reading glasses! The touch screen made navigation speedy, plus there is plenty of storage with 128GB, but of course you can add more with a microSD card. I am amazed at the number of features this phone has, which I feel are must-haves. I could do so much on this Samsung Galaxy A16 Easology including: calls, videos, texts, email family, friends, work mates, browse the web, download apps, watch YouTube, download music or audio books, everything I needed was so easily accessible for me. Another bonus is that Samsung gives you a 2-year warranty, so you have that much-needed peace of mind.
There is nothing else that I would need on this Samsung Galaxy A16 Easology and this phenomenal phone has restored my confidence and basically has simplified my life, I’m delighted with it. My only complaint is that I didn’t know about this Samsung Galaxy A16 Easology a lot earlier!!!
