Over 30,000 leaflets introducing our wonderful private gardens opening on behalf of the National Garden Scheme are now in circulation. With over 70 gardens – many new to the NGS this season – five village (group) openings and three Special Events, there is plenty to look forward to for the coming season.
Now is the time to think about booking gardens for group visits. Maybe you have a Garden Club, WI group or private get together you would like to organise? As an OBA (Open by Arrangement) garden owner myself, I have already had two group bookings, one from a Garden Tour Company based in Vienna! For these small group bookings, you will have the garden to yourselves with home made teas by arrangement with the owners, and timings (possibly evenings) by mutual agreement. In all cases children are admitted free of charge.
