It’s best to start with the truth and the truth is I loved these trousers. The Kiwi Pro II are an active fit, with a closer fitting cut in a stretch fabric. They offer you fleecy comfort so you are insulated and kept lovely and warm and but also have unrestricted freedom of movement which is so important. Crags us a plant based water repellent that’s bonded onto the fabric, which is made from a renewable source that allows rain and water based stains to simply run off. I found these trousers to be tough, durable and so very comfortable, I really don’t know anything else that was needed. Whatever the winter weather throws at you, be that rain, sleet or snow, these winter-ready trousers will deliver for you a superb performance that I am sure you will love as much as I do.
The Kiwi Pro also impressed me that approximately 255g of recycled material went into making this product, now that is really an extra bonus. The main fabric is: 96% polyamide, 4% elastane / Lining: 100% polyester / Pocket Bags: 65% polyester, 35% cotton.
I’m a horror for losing my car keys and no more so than when I am walking the dog. So to have three pockets in these trousers that are all zipped was brilliant and another worry less for me! Another extra was a sunglasses wipe which I’m sure once summer does arrive again, that too will be useful. Of course I tried these trousers out when beach walking my dog and my goodness I did appreciate the warmth, the stretch and really just the comfort they offered me on some very blustery days. I’m really not keen at all on wearing jeans when winter beach walking, find them way too cold, so I was delighted to find these trousers ticked all my boxes. I’m really tempted to put another pair on my Christmas list!
