Colours from Nail Kind

filler

It would be sensible to start this post by saying that NAIL KIND is a fairly new and universal Danish nail polish brand and their range has been designed to comply with main philosophies and ways of life. With a multi-award winning formula, it is no wonder it feels like NAIL KIND have started a nail revolution.

I know many of you will be impressed that this brand of polish is 100% vegan. There are no animal-derived ingredients, no animal testing, mineral and uses plant based ingredients such as sugar cane, corn and maize. Pro-ecology and bio-sourced chemistry is a more green and sustainable solution that reduces environmental footprint. NAIL KIND is low-chemical cosmetics, plus Purity & bio-sourced standard, Halal compliance and is certified by the International Halal Integrity Alliance.

With up to 85% bio-sourced ingredients, vegan and cruelty-free, mineral & plant based, this brand is without doubt a winner for me. It is also easy apply, the formula is quick dry and it is kind to your nails. What else do you need from a nail polish brand? I feel that the time is right to take on the world – of colours for your nails. I really loved trying the selection that had been sent to me, they are lovely intense shiny shades, offering conscious beauty and a bunch of natural caring ingredients. If this is what you are looking for, Nail Kind have kindly given you all the answers.

So let me tell you about the colours I have been testing:

The first is Bon Bon Blush, a lovely blend of a shy, rather a paleish purple with a hint of blushing pink, hence the shy description. This is such a gorgeous shade that will work well all through the year, but especially during the summer months.

Then onto Nude & Proud which is not not-naked-naked, rather more a grin and bare it, a lovely nude with a delicate pink-beige tinge.

Then I tried Nutz a fabulous warm grey-brown that is cleverly named – as nutz.

Next was Cashmere Kiss, a creamy, light beige that is so softly sensuous it just kisses your nails, bringing them a touch of chic with lots of fun.

People often talk about Pink Elephants, and this is also a beautiful shade of pink and really does get your imagination working when you spend time for you when painting your nails!

Colours from Nail Kind

Now I have just tried & tested the colours I was sent but please remember that NAIL KIND have lots of other colours on their website which is well worth a browse. I used all the colours and ended up with a multi-coloured pair of hands. I spent hours trying to decide my favourite from my rainbow hands but couldn’t decide between Nutz & Go Girl so I declared a tie!

What I must also highlight is before I tried all these colours I applied the NAIL KIND Natural Base Coat which is a multitasker for you to achieve salon-look nails at home, it worked like magic! It’s a super silky primer that smooths and blurs so that when you apply your chosen colour, you’ll find the colour you apply looks smooth, super glossy and just as importantly lasts. With a quick dry formula it is of course kind to your nails and also prevents your nail staining and yellowing, which is not a good look.

Leading The Way In Natural Nail Care

One of a Kind

What do you do when you’re a working woman and you can’t find the perfect nail polish?  Well, if you’re anything like our Founders, Lise and Pernille, you set about creating your own brand instead!

Lise explained “When I was working in the beauty industry in Copenhagen, I was always trying to find a nail polish that was easy to apply – even when I was in a cab or on the metro.  I couldn’t find a product good enough, so one day, Pernille and I decided to create our own.”

It was really important to create a product that was so quick and easy to apply that you could do it on the go.  This meant it needed to be fast drying too.  Lise continues “We didn’t want to have the hassle of reapplying it after 2 days.  So it had to be long wearing.  Of course, ethics come naturally as it is important in everything we do, so we took our time to source ingredients that were natural and were cruelty-free.”

Nail Kind’s formula took many years to finesse, including the unique brush design – it had to be kind to the environment, kind to humans and animals alike and kind to your nails.  They worked hard at removing various nasties found in some polishes.  Lise says “I love changing my nail colour with my mood and in order to do this, our formula has to be kind to nails and not damage them”.

Lise added “Nail Kind is truly inspired by our native Denmark.  It is infused with the vibe and way of living – the free spirited lifestyle. We want it to be fun but with serious ethics at its heart”.

Last but not least, Nail Kind is very passionate about having the best quality product at an affordable price, so that our customers can have a wide choice of colour to suit your moods!  From nudes to brights and everything in between

NAIL KIND is a multi-award-winning nail range that’s long wearing and cruelty free. Our products do not damage your nails – we use up to 85% natural and plant-based ingredients making them vegan, animal and planet friendly. If you love intense shades or more nude hues, and high-quality eco-friendly beauty is important to you – then you’re definitely one of our kind. Embrace your ‘you’, use colour expressively and with confidence; paint strong looks from gentle formulas. Not forgetting the final OMG …it’s affordable-for-all luxury.

Be Daring, Be You, Be Kind.
