Christmas Light

Snow puffed hedges
And cobwebbed trees.
White night daylight
And cold face breeze.

Sun gazed lanolin
And trough full fill.
Anoracked hooves
And grass pulled chill.

Deep squeak boots
And cold foot frown.
March square up
And slow step down.

Red berried baubles
And cattle snapped twigs.
Frost flat leaves
And deep dog digs.

Frosty white butterflies
And glitter globe skies.
Stiff still garden;
And silent bird cries.

Shy shadowed feathers.
And bull rush dew.
Frozen paddles
And rock still pew.

Lanterned cattle
And light lit shed.
Lunar glistens;
Time for bed.
