Capturing the beauty and power of this land for all to see – that’s the goal for all my photographs. For some the thought of getting out of bed at 3am to drive for hours, hike a hill or trawl through a muddy field to catch a glimpse of the first light of the day is not their first idea for a weekend morning but for me it’s like no other start to the day. The feeling of a new day, seeing the sun rise up above the horizon and being able to record the power and beauty that evolves through this daily cycle is awe inspiring. Likewise, sitting on a sandy beach, nobody else around as the sun dips below the horizon, seeing the last light fade away is too good to miss.
As I started to get serious with my photography this is when I started to travel more and found the stunning landscapes of Wales. The sheer beauty of this area is amazing: the sun rises that much brighter, the sun sets that much sweeter and the grass is that much greener! I have found myself coming back here more and more recently to capture natures never-ending show and I never run out of places to visit.
I started www.anthonybryantphotography.com initially to share my photos with friends and family and allow them to see and experience the sites I was seeing. Steadily I was selling a number of prints and taking on commissions and this then evolved into the fully functioning sales point for all my work. I will also be looking to add further works from in and around Wales, showcasing the sites and scenes from this wonderful country.
