JPLEX Bond Primer
This is your first step as this is a primer, a pre-shampoo treatment that prepares your hair for cleansing and the bond building treatment by lifting and penetrating your hair cuticle. This means that the rest of the treatments will penetrate the core of your hair shaft and therefore be effective. This primer is suitable for all hair types and colours and is also sulphate free.
Apply to your dry hair from roots to ends and comb through with a wide-toothed comb or try a wet brush to ensure that your hair is saturated with the primer. There is no need to rinse out before applying shampoo as this will help absorb the bond building technology.

Our 4 step JPLEXTM range has been formulated to protect, strengthen and restore your hair’s natural resilience from the very core. It penetrates the hair shaft to repair damaged bonds caused by colouring, heat styling and general environmental damage. JPLEX is the foundation needed for consistently great hair days.
How it Works
Hair is made up of 3 main layers, the cortex, cuticle and medulla (not always present). The cortex, is responsible for pigmentation (colour) and hydration and is made up of disulphide and hydrogen bonds. The cuticle consists of overlapping cells that protect the cortex from damage. When hair is damaged the cuticle is raised and the bonds within the cortex can be weakened and broken. Damaged hair may look and feel dry, lifeless, dull and can either become stretchy or lose elasticity and break.
JPLEX works in stages to lift the cuticle, penetrate the cortex and repair bonds and finally smooth and reseal the cuticle to protect that hair from further damage.
