In my ‘former’ life I was a sales representative, driving many, many miles on a daily basis, if only I’d had the luxury of these superb moccasins at that stage, then my hectic life during the summer would have been much more comfortable. Yes, I do mean comfortable as these super suede shoes are for me the ultimate in comfort, actually as comfy as my slippers and that is really saying something isn’t it?
There is without doubt a timeless appeal to the Aria moccasin classic driving shoe which has been crafted in Portugal from premium suede. The colour I chose was the wonderful vibrant red with contrast tan lacing with off-white stitching, but if red is not for you, don’t worry as there are plenty of colours to choose from. The red for me I think was because I wanted to make a statement and the feedback I got when wearing them was so positive in fact a few friends were rather envious!
I loved the rubber stud detail on the soles and heel backs, another reason they are so great for driving in. The Aria features Chatham’s sole spring poron performance cushioning, which is anti-bacterial and really offers maximum comfort and shock absorption. I’m totally delighted with the Aria which is definitely my go-to summer shoe which I’ll be able to wear for years as this design is timeless and will never fall out of fashion.
The shoes are a standard fit, but do remember that leather shoes will stretch up to a half size to give your feet extra room if you need that bit of extra space.
