50+ Series from Ecooking
Ecooking is a new beauty company to me and I guess not many of you know too much about it. The entire 50+ series is vegan, dermatologically tested and fragrance free. So I wanted to start by letting the company briefly tell you its own story which I have taken from their website and then follows will be our views from the products that we have tried & tested:
Ecooking is down to earth luxury for your skin with an uncompromising focus on efficiency. Launched in 2015, Ecooking is everyday luxury for your skin. Developed with a strong focus on the ingredients and the effect they have. It’s developed by an experienced Danish skin care manufacturer and entrepreneur who initially produced and bottled all products by hand at her little factory. Ecooking products are developed as a series of products to solve certain problems with the skin. Our approach has been to troubleshoot any specific skin challenge. Step by step, we have formulated and developed products to meet any need, and now our range is wide enough to tackle any particular skincare difficulty. Ecooking is for everyone – regardless of skin type, gender or age. We have products for every skin type or challenge – fine lines, wrinkles, acne or redness. Our philosophy is that everyone deserves that sense of well-being that healthy and well-nourished skin gives.
The names of our products are straight forward, no long, wordy names! A day cream is called – a day cream because we believe in honesty and transparency, which is why all our labels show precisely what the products contain. Therefore, they are easy to grasp, easy to use and so efficient you get rid of the worries about your skin and just enjoy the beauty of life. Basically — we help people to healthy and beautiful skin without too much nonsense.
We use only the best ingredients, each of which is selected according to the desired effect they have on the skin. And yet, we can maintain a price that makes them available to all, because we believe in everyday affordable luxury skin care.
Our products are produced with thought for you and the environment. You can recycle our packaging. Our packing fill is made of corn and is, therefore, easily recycled with water.
50+ Face Oil
This face oil for the over 50’s is filled with delicious oils including, rose hip seed oil, jojoba, almond and olive oils. The face oil also has CBD from citrus peel and has a high content of mineral salts, vitamins, and fatty acids. It cleverly renews and refreshes the skin, whilst some Vitamin E has also been added to strengthen and protect your skin.
You’ll feel that your skin is being nourished and has a glow that not only makes your skin look good, but makes you feel good too. I think I’m safe in saying that we all want lovely skin and even more so as we age. So please do check out all their 50+ range, promise you it is worth it!
I found that this Face Oil provided my skin with much needed long-lasting moisture as well as a much fresher glowing complexion.

50+ Cleansing Foam
This cleansing foam is again for the 50+ and is a mild and allergy-friendly cleanser that will pamper your skin. It is a vegan, soft, nourishing foam filled with active ingredients and mild cleansing agents. One of the recurring ingredients in the 50+ range is plant stem cells of wild olive trees so this of course is in this lovely cleansing foam.
The stem cells provide your skin with an energy boost whilst other ingredients, such as niacinamide, vitamin B3 and panthenol, vitamin B5, that penetrates your skin where they moisturise, soften, and improve skin elasticity. There’s also organic Aloe Vera that will provide your skin with a cooling protecting layer which makes it ideal for unclear, irritated and dry skin. So this is an effective and nourishing cleanser, which is what we are all looking for.
You can use this cleansing foam to cleanse your skin and to remove your eye makeup and makeup. This foam works well for all skin types.

Firming Serum
Firming Serum with A Priming effect
This is a company favourite which has now got a new packaging and formula. This new version has the same effect as the ‘old’ one but this serum is without fragrance and silicone and it is also AllergyCertified!
The serum contains a high concentration of natural shea oil, natural squalane, natural vitamin E and organic wheat germ oil. All these substances will provide your skin with plenty of moisture, care and protection. It also contains Argireline, an effective peptide that visibly reduces the depth of wrinkles and boots collagen production for smooth and firm skin. You’ll find the serum also has a priming effect, so your make-up will be smoother.

Body Lotion
With this body lotion, the company has taken the philosophy and ingredients from targeted facial skincare and applied it to the body. Well that makes perfect sense to me! You’ll love that your body can now get the same effective care with results that you can easily see. It provides all skin types with moisture and care, however, it is especially designed for those of you who want to retrieve the elasticity and glow of younger skin whilst reducing the ‘looseness’ that comes with age; additionally, it is easily absorbed through the skin. It works as it contains Hyaluronic acid, also known as HA, which moisturizes your skin and works in the deeper layers of the skin; in this way, it provides the skin with the hyaluronic acid and collagen that we lose as we age. It is a unique booster that will fill your fine lines and wrinkles. The lotion contains a high content, 5% of Niacinamide, which is known as vitamin B3 which helps the skin reduce signs of fine lines, adjusts the structure of the skin and helps to improve age spots and pigmentation whilst giving your skin a healthier glow.
