Mid Wales Opera Triumphs in 2023 with “Beatrice & Benedict”

Mid Wales Opera celebrates the triumph of its performers in the exceptional presentation of Berlioz’s “Beatrice & Benedict.” This artistic challenge seamlessly merged Shakespearean drama with musical excellence, resulting in an outstanding showcase of acting, singing, instrumental performance, and visual appeal. Crafted as part of Folio400, dedicated to celebrating the 400th Birthday of The First Folio, the production garnered an enthusiastic response from the audience, affirming the success of this ambitious endeavour. Mid Wales Opera extends gratitude to the performers and the supportive community for contributing to the success of this extraordinary artistic achievement.

Mid Wales Opera also extends heartfelt gratitude to the community for the overwhelming support received in response to the news last year of the discontinuation of funding from Arts Council Wales and is turning to their dedicated opera community for assistance as they chart a course for the future. If you possess unique skills, resources, or innovative ideas that could benefit the organisation during this critical period, you are encouraged to reach out directly. Contact Mid Wales Opera directly via email at admin@midwalesopera.co.uk, and they will respond as promptly as possible.

Alternatively you can donate directly to the work they do by going to cafdonate.cafonline.org/16112#!/DonationDetails. Mid Wales Opera invites contributions of any size to sustain opera productions and educational work. Every donation plays a vital role in ensuring the continuation of their artistic endeavours.
