Set of 3 Classic Shears
I must admit that I do not enjoy being in the kitchen, but if I have tools that can make my life easier as I tackle everyday tasks, I am certainly a little happier. But in case you are not aware, I must tell you about a company I have come to rely on in my kitchen and that is Kuhn Rikon. I am a regular visitor on their website: kuhnrikon.co.uk as their whole range is brilliant, so many great ideas from gadgets to super pans, I really can spend a lot of time on that website, especially if I have engagement/wedding gifts to buy or ideas for festive gifting too.
Now this set of classic shears have quickly become a favourite of mine as I simply couldn’t believe how easy it was to use these them. They are suitable for both left and right-handed use and they feature an ergonomic curved handle for precision and as feeling so comfortable in your hands, which made tackling any tasks so easy. They are crafted from hardened, rust-free steel and have self-sharpening blades that continue to offer a superb performance, whether that is trimming herbs, cutting meat in the kitchen, opening that tricky plastic packaging, doing your crafting or tackling endless jobs in the garden, these shears will tackle most things. To have three pairs in the set was super useful too.
Hand-wash in hot, soapy water and towel-dry thoroughly, but please do not soak the blades, they really are easy to clean, there’s no need to soak them.
This set from Kuhn Rikon are well worth purchasing and with a set of 3 you might wish to gift a pair. That was my initial plan but I found so many uses for the three pairs that I couldn’t do that, instead I had to buy a 2nd set for gifting. I am sure friends and family will enjoy a pair of Kuhn Rikon shears as a present sometime. The final bonus was that this set also comes with boxes so it does make gifting so easy to do!

Fast Wrap Film Dispenser
I spend too much of my kitchen time ‘fighting’ with plastic film, so to find this neat hassle-free Fast Wrap film dispenser from Kuhn Rikon has been a saviour for me. Made from stainless steel and plastic it has been designed to help prevent tangled plastic wrap but it also cleanly dispenses and cuts aluminium foil too. The nonslip feet help the dispenser remain steady as it sits on your worktop. It accommodates standard size rolls up to 13″ in length and of course is ideal for covering leftovers, prepping ingredients or wrapping packed lunches.
Just wipe the dispenser with a damp cloth to keep clean. You’ll find this handy kitchen essential is easy to load, easy to measure and easy to use every day. Plus a further bonus is I didn’t waste any film and no longer got cross fighting with plastic film! Please do remember though that this dispenser is obviously not for children as the blade is sharp.
