Delilah has been cruelty free since the first iconic product was launched back in 2014. Since then, we have never tested on animals and never ask others to do so on our behalf. Our products are “people-tested”, which means that those who will actually be wearing them, are the ones who tell us they look great. Seems like a sensible idea, right?

· Parabens, they are a problem. Why? Because most people aren’t really sure what they are or even what they do. Yet, they are in most beauty products. So, where does Delilah fit into this murky conversation?
· Firstly, let’s explain what they are: Parabens are preservatives used to stop bacteria from growing in beauty products. Sounds like a good addition, doesn’t it? Well, a controversial study in 2017 suggested that sometimes parabens can mimic oestrogen in the body. Definitely a side-effect of lipstick we weren’t expecting.
