A Triple Treat from Mallows at the Cowbridge Food Festival

A firm favourite every year, Mallows Beverages is set to return to this month’s Cowbridge Food and Drink Festival with festival goers set to be the very first to sample the company’s exciting new non-alcoholic product range.

Alongside the ever-popular gins and spirits, Mallows will this year launch a whole new range of soft drinks; a super alternative to ‘Oasis’ and so very aptly named ‘Blur’.

Mallows will be pulling out all the stops across the Spring Bank Holiday Weekend, also revealing the company’s bold new branding while expanding to three stalls at the main Arthur John site.

Speaking ahead of the event, managing director Andy Mallows said:

“We’re so looking forward to coming back this year and especially with so many great new things to share.

“Cowbridge is such a big one for us; a flagship food and drink festival and it’s our hometown.  We want to bring something big and exciting to all of our people in Cowbridge.

“We’ve been coming for so many years and love welcoming back previous customers along with lots of new faces, so it just seemed the perfect showcase for all the great things we have to shout about this year.”

Across the three Mallows’ stalls, visitors will be able to sample and buy from the award-winning alcohol ranges as usual and for thirst quenching non-alcoholic alternatives, Blur will be available in four refreshing flavours: Cherries and Berries, Tropical Storm, Citrus Blast and Summer Breeze, alongside Blur fruit squash.

Andy continued:

“This is a big move for us as we’ve always been predominantly known for our premium spirits but we felt there was a gap out there and that what we really want to do is to provide a ‘flavour for every taste’ – between the three stalls I think we’ve got that covered which is great.

“The third stall will feature our Rummers Drift cocktails – relaunching our single served cocktail in a bottle so another festival exclusive!

“We’re gearing up for a very busy weekend and would love visitors to come and see us and find out a bit more about everything we’ve got going on; it’s a very exciting time for us as a family business!”

Cowbridge Food and Drink Festival manager Tracy James-Lieberman added:

“We love seeing the Mallows team every year and we equally love having new things to promote so we can’t wait to have the guys back on site.

“The alcohol ranges are always so popular but it’s also great to now have these non-alcoholic alternatives to bring even more choice to our fabulous festival goers.”
