Orange & Bergamot Aroma Reeds Diffuser
I’m a bit cross with myself that one of my favourite companies, Molton Brown, have launched a new Home Collection and I didn’t know – how bad is that? I think it is safest to say I’m rather late to this Home Collection party and now playing catch up!
Molton Brown are have been known as British fragrance makers for over 50 years so it is exciting that this Home Collection covers not just scented candles and candle accessories but my favourite way to fragrance my home, aroma reeds, plus aroma reeds refills.
So let me tell you why using aroma reeds is my favourite way of bringing fragrance into my home and my office too. Molton Brown have reformulated their reeds to give you an improved, exceptional scent experience and the fragrances are beautiful. You get eight reeds and of course you can choose to use them all or just use say 5. It just depends of course on the size of the room you need to fragrance and you just need to flip the reeds over when a fresh burst of fragrance is needed. The glass bottle will look good anywhere I tried this one in the hallway, but loved that I could easily move it around the house as and when needed. This orange and bergamot is a classic fragrance of Sevillian orange, blossoming neroli and enduring musk. Just imagine a Sevillian courtyard of full of sun-dappled citrus trees as the lively airs of sweet orange, sparkling bergamot and blossoming neroli seem to dance a scented flamenco. Then you’ll notice the green, vibrant galbanum and opulent ylang-ylang slip into an enduring musk. This fabulous fragrance awakened my spirits and gave me an uplift as this Molton Brown’s modern classic feels that it has been plucked from the naranja grove. To summarise the Top Notes are Sweet Orange, the Heart Notes are Blossoming Neroli and the Base Notes are of Enduring Musk.
Molton Brown are passionately committed to caring for the world we live in and their Home collection is certainly no exception. Their new boxes are smaller and at least 46% lighter than their previous design which allows them to transport your products more sustainably. To help reduce waste even further, Molton Brown use 50% FSC-certified recycled materials to make the outer carton paper of their products and this, alongside the aroma reeds, the glass, is also recyclable. Their aroma reeds and refills are made in England and as always, everything is cruelty free. This is the type of company I love.
My other plus point with Molton Brown is that as I am so addicted to using reeds in my home and I’m pleased that Molton Brown also offer reed refills so that you can now refill your favourite reed fragrance when required. Refills are so much needed when we are all trying to save our Planet. I found that reeds last around four months, which is a really long time and makes me feel this is really good value for money. As you’ll have gathered I love using reeds but if ‘I can’ I do try and gift them, although it is not always easy for me to do. Reeds make great Christmas gifts, or as a birthday treat or house moving present. These lovely reeds certainly last much longer than a bunch of flowers or a bottle of wine!

Re-charge Black Pepper Aroma Reeds
Now this is another beautiful fragrance from Molton Brown and it is a more adventurous one and will bring this woody-citrus icon into your home. Black Pepper has been a favourite of mine for such a long time and for me it is a more sophisticated fragrance from their range. This eight-reed diffuser will revitalise you with its energising Madagascan black pepper, ginger and earthy vetiver. I am hoping that you can imagine an off-road trek from rocky peaks to savannah grass canyons. There you will get a spice-spiked shot of heated black pepper that kicks into the subtle woodiness of coriander. It’s robust and complex where earthy vetiver is grounded by deep, assured oakmoss. It is easy to re-charge your routine and conquer the adventure with this iconic fragrance. The Top Notes are Piquant Black Pepper, the Heart notes are Herby Coriander, with Base Notes of Earthy Vetiver.
It is important to remember that Molton Brown are passionately committed to caring for the world we live in and their Home collection is certainly no exception. Their new boxes are smaller and at least 46% lighter than their previous design which allows them to transport your products more sustainably. To help reduce waste even further, Molton Brown use 50% FSC-certified recycled materials to make the outer carton paper of their products and this, alongside the aroma reeds and the glass, are also recyclable. Their aroma reeds and refills are made in England and as always with Molton Brown, everything is cruelty free. This is my type of company.
Please don’t forget that refills are available so you don’t need to run out of your favourite aroma reeds. Just enjoy as the gentle flow of fragrance weaves continuously through each nook of your home, settling as the unmistakable, signature scent of your space.
