Raising the Bar for Same Day Deliveries Across West Wales

The key to their same-day offering is the addition of two new ‘mini-drays’ to the fleet of brown and cream vans which have become a trademark of Templeton Drinks. The new mini-drays have been designed to meet the needs of their customers in keeping cellars and store rooms stocked seven days a week, rather than the traditional once or twice a week which is still undertaken by national suppliers.
Templeton Drinks deliver to over 600 pubs, clubs, restaurants and cafes across West Wales, who no longer have to worry about stock levels or storage, as their next delivery could be with them later that day, seven days a week. Plus taking advantage of Templeton Drinks out of hours answerphone ordering system, if a customer places an order before 10am, Templeton endeavour to have the delivery with them later that day.
The local road network has also been taken into account in designing the ‘mini-drays’, with quick loading milk float style bodies added to a Ford Transit cab and frame. The resulting bespoke vehicles are small, nimble and able to fulfil multiple deliveries ranging from bustling town centres to country pubs hidden down narrow lanes. If a customer is on the map, Templeton Drink’s and their mini drays are able to reach them.
