I wonder, if like me, you have bought various carpet cleaners over the years, thinking that the often added bonus of a hand held will be useful. Then on using it found you were wrong and the hand held becomes a clutter collector stuffed at the back of a cupboard.
Now move forward to the next generation of quick clean-ups because I have at last found this one, which is brilliant, it really does give you power right in the palm of your hand.
This vacuum is the Shark WandVac 2.0, a machine which is powerful and has been engineered with a high-efficiency motor to deliver more power and suction. It is sleek, slim and lightweight at just under 700g, which I loved as heavy, bulky machines are too heavy for me to use. But being lightweight also meant I actually wanted to use it! Mine now lives in the kitchen, out on show because this is a good-looking vacuum and takes up so little space with its streamlined base which keeps your machine charged. With up to 15 minutes run-time, you are able to get at those crumbs, spills, dust up without running out of battery. It is also quite fun to use so I’m sure children might well be willing to try it too. The power is there but there is also the additional choice of a boost option, so whatever task you have to do this handheld is there for you.
We are a messy family, so crumbs in the kitchen are a regular clean-up job but I didn’t stop there as I tackled the car and found it so easy to manage and manoeuvre around the seats, the floor carpets and then the dashboard. So then it was back to the house and our wide window ledges which I always found a hassle, until now. I’m so pleased that this small, but effective machine can do so much and so easily too. I was getting so happy with this handheld I then moved onto the stairs which was another easy-peasy task completed. Then yet another nightmare for me was removing pet hair. Anyone with pets know that their hair gets everywhere and you really don’t wish to be dragging your main machine out to clear it. So with the 2 handy attachments which are stored on the base, messes can easily and quickly be tackled.
I’m sure you can guess I’m not a devotee of housework, but if I can find tools that work and can make my life easier I’m a fan. After my testing thoroughly I can say in all honesty that I was not expecting to like this handheld, but now I love it, proof if proof were needed readers!
