The Henry machine has been designed, engineered and made in the UK since 1969 and these machines are made to last. Over 15 million have been made during this time and most are still in use, perhaps that recommendation is all you need to persuade you to take a Henry home with you. I’d be lost without mine as I found him the perfect multi-tasker. If you have a dog, cat or fluffy smaller animal, this Henry Pet machine will become the latest ‘pet’ addition to your family, even though he’s not quite as cuddly!!.
Now if you have pets, the Henry Pet is most certainly for you. With all the great features of the Henry, this one was built for pets with the added bonus of extra pet friendly features and a versatile tool kit. This machine is there, ready to remove stubborn pet hairs and reduce lingering pet odours.
This machine was very powerful, with its strong suction proving much more impressive than the many cleaners I’ve used in the past to try and clean up pet hair. I no longer had to keep going over the same piece of carpet or rug to make sure every hairy, furry bit is collected. There is a 10 metre cable on this machine which means you have a really good reach without constantly unplugging and plugging back in.
It was easy to switch between carpets and hard-floors with Henry Pet’s high-performance Combi Floor Tool. All you have to do is just set the brushes up for carpets and down for hard-floors and in next to no time you’ll achieve powerful results in either mode. When it comes to closer, detailed cleaning, you’ll find the Crevice Tool is perfect for getting into all those annoying nooks and crannies, whilst Dusting Tool is perfect for delicate surfaces, such as shelves, ornaments and for cleaning around picture frames. If you are targeting smaller areas such as the stairs, sofa and in the car, the Henry Pet’s Upholstery Tool is first-class. But then remove the brush and you’ll get optimum results when you are cleaning mattresses. I must say that my most used tool was the hairbrush which worked brilliantly. It easily picked up pet hairs from not only carpet and chairs, but the car – which has always been the bane of my life to clean. If like me you make regular trips to the Welsh beaches and forests with your four-legged friend then it doesn’t take long for your car to look like a well-loved and very scruffy kennel, but with sand! This tool worked well and because it was so easy and quick to use, I’m hoping I’ll be using this in the car, just little and often – well that’s my plan!
Another really important point for pet owners is that the Henry’s charcoal activated micro-fresh filter tackles those annoying and embarrassing pet odours and no-one wants their home or car not to smell fresh. This machine also has a self-seal tab that locks all the dust in the bag so there’s no mess emptying the machine and another good plus point was the capacity. I found it took me forever to fill its 9L capacity, which is over 7 times the capacity of many bagless cleaners.
I am guessing it was a no-brainer for Which to award the Henry ‘Best Buy’ in 2017, but for you dear reader the 2 year warranty will give you that much-needed confidence to buy.
