Students at Coleg Sir Gâr’s Carmarthen School of Art are showcasing their end of year work at the school’s Job’s Well Road campus in Carmarthen and they are welcoming visitors to support emerging new artists.
The exhibitions take place from May 23 to June 4 and will feature work from graduating students across a diverse range of creative disciplines, representing the culmination of years of study, experimentation, and artistic development.
Visitors can expect to see innovative work in fine art, ceramics, photography, concept art and illustration, textiles, jewellery, 3D design and animation, fashion design and multi-disciplinary.
The work of 46 students will be included in the exhibition.
“Our students have produced an incredible body of work that challenges boundaries and highlights the exceptional skill and imagination emerging from West Wales”, said a spokesperson for Carmarthen School of Art.
“This show is a celebration of their resilience and creativity, and we invite the community to come and experience it firsthand.
“Carmarthen School of Art is renowned for its nurturing environment, specialising in traditional skills combined with contemporary techniques and has a proud and rich history of producing artistic talent and leading practitioners both nationally and internationally.”

The annual degree show will open from Friday, May 22 at 5.30pm.
In May, the exhibition is open Saturday, May 23 from 10am to 1pm and on May 27 to 29 it’s open from 9.30am to 4pm.
In June, it’s open on June 1 to June 4 from 9.30am to 4pm with two evening options on June 2 and June 4 until 7pm.
