I loved hearing from a reader telling me about Dew, which was a new company to me, but what is even better is that I’ve been able to try & test 2 of their products and loved them. The first was Superclean which is an all-purpose cleaner that removes grease, oil, stains and lots, lots more. It is 99.99% effective at killing bacteria and really does remove grease, oil and stains, plus it cuts through grime in a jiffy. I tried it on a mark on the sofa and a very annoying mark on the hall carpet and it made easy work on both stains. It is a relief to me that this is such a versatile product. I even tried it on the car getting rid of the dead flies and grime from my car windscreen. It was brilliant, effective and perhaps the best bit was that it took little effort from me! Superclean makes cleaning effortless as I sprayed it onto worktops, tiles and my Belfast sink which was looking rather grubby, but I even tried it on some paintwork and then just wiped dry. I allowed it to work, maybe 2–3 minutes, before I gently scrubbed with a soft scourer on tougher stains – and I had plenty of those! On my carpet, I did a patch test first and didn’t get it too wet, I just sprayed and then gently rubbed and the dirt came away like magic.
Superclean was a winner for me and another bonus was that it is award-winning and Allergy UK certified! Disinfect SuperHygiene
As I say I am really impressed with this company and also with the second product I had from them to try & test. This was the disinfectant, SuperHygiene. This, like the Superclean was so simple to use and when that is the case I am obviously going to keep using them! I tried this in our bathroom, the shower room and across the kitchen surfaces. I sprayed it on and left for a minute, then wiped or quite often let it dry by itself. Do of course take care if using on soft fabrics and woodwork, it is always best to do a spot test first. Obviously I was eager to keep germs at bay, so poured directly down my sinks /shower/bath waste pipes and also did a spray around the toilet bowl. This is a clear, fragrance free liquid and as it is a no-rinse formula it was perfect for around food prep areas. I found so many uses for this product that I’ll be purchasing their refill packs as this range is one I now do not wish to be without.
I was drawn to this range because it is 100% natural, that always appeals to me and so much better for our planet. What is Electrolysed Water?

Plastic
An environmental and humanitarian disaster is being caused by the excessive manufacturing and consumption of single-use plastic. We use millions of tonnes of plastic annually on a global scale, and it is becoming evident that recycling won’t solve our plastic problem. In addition to contaminating our planet and causing the climate crisis, plastic is also entering our bodies through the food we consume. Plastic is now present everywhere, including the highest mountain peaks and the deepest regions of the ocean. Unfortunately, before the issue gets better, it is likely to get worse. The production of plastic on a global scale is anticipated to double once more over the next 20 years and nearly quadruple by 2050. We use reclaimed plastic in our bottles where possible.
