Aberystwyth Farmers’ Market is held on the 1st & 3rd Saturday each month
Aberystwyth Farmers Market has been a regular sight on Aberystwyth’s North Parade for 18 years where the green and white stalls line the streets to create a traditional market environment.
Every market day, North Parade is buzzing with people choosing to buy the best local foods made with the best local produce. The Farmers Market provides a unique shopping experience for the local community and tourist. It enables customers to buy quality products in an accessible and informal environment. Shoppers meet up and chat to the local producers about the ingredients, provenance and history of products they are selling. The level of customer service and satisfaction is paramount to the stallholders
The Market is a hive of activity and helps bring the community together for regular social interactions. This traditional market environment offers shoppers a very personal, 1-2-1 buying experience. Stallholders are passionate about every item for sale on their stall; they enthusiastically talk to shoppers about their products and are happy to answer questions about how they make their product and where the ingredients came from. Buying direct from the suppliers ensures customers receive value for money on the high quality items purchased.
The market has a regular attendance of up to 30 different local food and drink producers selling a wide range of products including; cheese, bread, preserves, meat, poultry, cakes, pies, eggs, cured meats, herbs & plants, wines, beers and vegetables. In addition there is also a good selection of hot food stalls, and stalls selling hand crafted products.
Aberystwyth Food, Drink and Craft Fayre is also held during the month of September in Baker St, Aberystwyth. In addition to all the regular Aberystwyth Farmers Market Stalls there will be guest producers, live music and children’s entertainment.
