Llanwrtyd Wells Community Transport (LWCT) is pleased to announce that they have won two prestigious awards. The Amazon-sponsored ‘Rural Business Awards’ took place on November 8th 2019 and LWCT were named one of the best rural businesses in the country. Their award was for Best Rural Social Enterprise, Charity or Community Project 2019/20. The Wales and Northern Ireland regional finals were held at the Wrexham Glyndŵr University and regionally sponsored by Openreach.
Following the impressive achievement at the regional final, LWCT went on to be runners up for Wales and Northern Ireland at the national final held in February 2020.
The ‘Community Transport Awards’ took place on November 12th 2019 at the Football Hotel, Manchester and LWCT won the Serving Rural Communities award sponsored by Courtside Conversions.
