Crickhowell Food Festival & Artisan Market

Crickhowell Food Festival is part of a weekend of summer fun on Crickhowell High Street. Bringing together the skills of the long term successful Brecon Food Festival and Artisan Events Wales with their Crickhowell Artisan Market, the weekend of 28th and 29th June is set to bring Crickhowell all abuzz.

With the Crickhowell Food Festival running on Saturday 28th and the Crickhowell Artisan Market running on Sunday the 29th provide two excellent reasons to visit the historic town of Crickhowell and enjoy not only these two events but also but the many independent shops, coffee shops and other hospitality venues.

Andrew Powell who runs the Brecon Food Festival every year has been asked to put the food festival together, so any visitor can be guaranteed that there will be the most wonderful array of food and drinks from artisan producers. Andrew is a great supporter of Welsh brands of food and drink so you can be assured of many tantalising products to make your taste buds zing.  Whilst enjoying such deliciousness either at the festival or later at home from items purchased you can also pat yourself on the back for helping to keep the local economy thriving.

Artisan Events Wales takes the same principles with truly artisan businesses attending the Crickhowell Artisan Market. With ceramics, candles, paper art, leather and furniture for the home, one can also add to your own wardrobe and accessories there will be something for everyone.

Remember that when you attend and spend at events like this you are not helping to support the big CEO’s third property but you are helping families to buy their children’s sports kit, dance class or hobby.
