Stunning Coastal Landscapes on Show at Local Pembrokeshire Artist’s Open Studio

filler

Pembrokeshire artist Sarah Jane Brown is welcoming visitors to her beautiful working art studio for an open studio event during the last weekend in June. The studio will be open to the public between the hours of 10.30 am to 5.30 pm on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June 2024. There will be an opportunity to buy original work together with prints and art gifts and have a look behind the scenes of a busy art studio.

Living and working in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Sarah Jane draws widely on the breathtakingly wild beauty of her coastal surroundings to create emotionally charged and thought- provoking oil paintings.

“Walking every day in this dramatic environment with its rocky shores, high cliffs, big skies and unpredictable seas, can be a truly humbling experience,” says Sarah Jane. “It reminds me how nature can be both diminishing, showing you how small you are in such a vast landscape, whilst also uplifting and transformative.”

Based at Brawdy Business Park, just off the A487 between Penycwm and Solva, the studio is clearly signposted from the main road and easy to find. Free parking and toilets are available, and the studio is wheelchair friendly. The studio is open by appointment if you would like to visit at another time; call 01437 623123 to arrange.
