Three of Wales’ leading luxury boutique venues, Twr y Felin Hotel, Roch Castle and Penrhiw Priory, located in and around Britain’s smallest city, St Davids, Pembrokeshire, have appointed Ewan Rees as the new Operations Manager, in response to the continued success of the group. With a career spanning 15 years, working within the tourism and hospitality sector, both in the UK and abroad, Ewan brings a wealth of experience to the newly created role and will oversee all aspects of the day to day operation of the three heritage accommodation properties, with a specific focus on delivering a consistently high level of guest service, whilst maximising sales opportunities for the properties.
Previous positions range from Guest Services & Health Spa Supervisor at AAA Five Star, Relais & Chateaux Hotel, The Little Nell in Aspen, Colorado, to Guest Relations Manager and Assistant Hotel Manager at the Cotswold Water Park Four Pillars Hotel in the UK. Ewan then spent a significant amount of time at Yas Viceroy, Abu Dhabi, quickly progressing from Events Manager to Assistant Director of Sales.

Each role has enabled Ewan to craft his skills to perfectly suit the venues, which offer understated luxury accommodation, fine dining, five star guest experience and the warmest of Welsh welcomes.
Twr y Felin is a former windmill which has been meticulously restored and extended, and is now home to 21 bedrooms and two Rosette Blas Restaurant. Penrhiw Priory has eight bedrooms, and nestles in acres of private gardens, enveloped by woodland paths, river and meadow and is just a short walk to the historic St Davids cathedral.
Paula Ellis, Group General Manager of the three properties said, “I am thrilled to welcome Ewan to the team.
