The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park’s festive fayres are giving you the opportunity to enter into the Christmas spirit this winter.
The Authority’s visitor attractions Castell Henllys Iron Age Village, Oriel y Parc Gallery and Visitor Centre and Carew Castle will all be hosting events in the coming weeks to help you find unique gifts made by a range of local producers.
Jenn Jones, Manager of Castell Henllys and Oriel y Parc said: “These three events will be filled with festive cheer, with seasonal music and refreshments helping to create a joyful atmosphere as you browse the great selection of gifts on offer.
“There will be plenty to entertain the children as you shop, including a chance to visit Santa in his special grotto and there will be free parking at all three locations.”
Castell Henllys will host its Christmas Fayre on Sunday 27 November with entertainment in the way of carol singing and festive refreshments on sale in the Café. Children can visit Santa in his grotto and receive a small gift for £2.
The Castell Henllys Christmas Fayre will be open from 11am-4pm and entry is free.
Oriel y Parc will be transformed into a bustling Christmas Market on Saturday 3 December with a range of stalls inside and out with hot food and drink also available in the courtyard and in the Café, including mulled wine and mince pies. Children can visit Santa’s grotto for £1.50 which includes a small gift.
The event will also be an ideal opportunity to view the new Reading the Rocks: The Remarkable Maps of William Smith exhibition in the main gallery.
The Oriel y Parc Christmas Market will be open from 10am-4pm and entry is free.
Carew Castle will play host to a Christmas Fayre on Sunday 4 December with a chance to browse locally made gifts, crafts, jewellery and produce inside the Castle walls.
The Quaynotes Choir will be performing traditional carols and Christmas songs with hot food and drink available including mulled wine.
Children will be able to visit Santa and receive a gift in his grotto, tucked away within the walls of the Castle, for £2 per child.
The Carew Castle Christmas Fayre will be open from 10am-3pm. There is free entry for children and normal admission charges apply for adults and concessions.
