“With Valentines Day and Dydd Santes Dwynwen still in recent memory 2019 could be a year to celebrate love, but this year, the prestigious Royal Welsh Show is celebrating its 100th show… and we want to share the love.
Along with a number of other commemorative touches to this year’s event, we are offering one lucky couple the opportunity to have an all-expenses paid wedding*, here on the showground, during the first day of our 100th show the spectacular Royal Welsh Show.
We are looking for a very special couple to celebrate their love and tie the knot during our 100th show that is Royal Welsh Show this July! Applications to nominate yourselves, or another deserving couple, opened on 14 February 2019. Keep your eyes peeled for more details.
Surrounded by an intimate group of friends and family, the pair will tie the knot in our picturesque bandstand, in the heart of the busy and bustling showground.
Following the ceremony, the couple will can enjoying a glass of chilled champagne whilst relaxing in the Presidents Box of the main ring grandstand (best seats in the house! And the 100th show). After a few precious minutes to themselves, watching the main ring attractions, the newlyweds will then join their guests for a delicious wedding breakfast.
It will certainly be a wedding to remember. With the hustle and bustle of the event and the excitement of the wedding, the atmosphere will be incredible and the photos will be amazing.
Maybe you met each other at a previous show? Perhaps you attend every year with your other half? If the Royal Welsh Show holds a special place in your heart, this could be the perfect occasion for you both get married during this iconic event plus being the 100th show.

All nominations need to be made by 17 March 2019. Three shortlisted couples will be asked to attend a short interview at the showground at the end of March, with the successful pair announced thereafter.
