The neoprene top-line and collar gives your feet a neat and comfortable fit which helps to make any garden chore a more enjoyable one. There is a high performance rubber upper that makes them easy for you to handle and the joy of being able to just hose them down, is another plus point for me. I loved the steel shank that runs along the entire sole, it gives you better stability and the fatigue-reducing arch support is a bonus. The shoes have an all-weather strong grip tabs so it is easy for you to pull them onto your feet. There is also a kick trim at the back of the heel that makes them easy to kick off, I so loved being able to do that! This shoe has a midsole system that gives added support, comfort and protection to your feet as well as an anti-microbial footbed for odour control and moisture management, basically it is what we all want – dry feet, that don’t smell! Your heel and arch are protected and supported as they are both reinforced along with a reinforced control zone which is a huge help if you are tackling any tough areas in your garden. With its deep tread design that offers you superior traction and grip, so no more slipping and sliding. There is also a cleat sole that has been designed to stop mud clogging on the bottom of your shoes, now this is a problem that I’ve found so annoying in other boots that I’ve had over the years and who wants the extra job of cleaning the floor after you’ve walked mud in? Not me for sure!
