This philosophy is more than shown with Chef/ Owner Simon King of the 2 AA rosette Restaurant 1861 at Cross Ash in rural Monmouthshire will be cooking in the Demonstration Theatre at 10.30 am on Saturday. Simon has a wealth of experiencing in cooking fine dining dishes. He also has a quest for truly fabulous food produced locally using local farmers, butchers and vegetable producers. The majority of the fresh vegetables come from his father in law’s nursery in Nantyderry, also in Monmouthshire. Come early for a front row seat to watch Simon at work
