To coincide with a current exhibition at the Gallery, Plas Glyn y Weddw are delighted to announce that Ian Phillips will be discussing the processes and art of Linocut printing. This will take place on the 2nd of November at 2pm.
Ian Phillips will be at the gallery talking about the technique of reduction linocut, as applied to the creation and development of his Landscape artwork from his move to Wales in 2001 to the present day.
It will cover the process of reduction, materials used, his inspirations and personal development, as well as his trip to Australia and its impact on his work culmination in the current exhibition.

The Exhibition runs until the 9th of November, with Ian Phillips’ talk at 2pm on the 2nd of November.
