The cooking demonstrations Monmouthshire Food Festival take a slightly different twist and show the way forward. So often at food festivals the chefs give a demonstration that cannot easily be replicated by those watching as the food used is not sold at the festival. Monmouthshire Food Festival at the end of May at Caldicot Castle have changed that.
Local but no less talented chef Adam Whittle, Head chef at the Newbridge on Usk Hotel in Tredunnock will be cooking in the Demonstration theatre on Saturday 30th May at 12.30pm. During his career Adam has gained a host of accolades including 2 AA rosettes during his time at the White Hart Village Inn in Llangybi. He was a member of the Welsh Culinary Team who cooked for the Queen at the opening of the Welsh Assembly in 2007. Adam will be cooking a dish using new season lamb from Glam Lamb.
