Jez Danks tells the story of a man , Dai Versity, who has decided that it’s never too late to change 7.45pm, Thursday 3rd March at Aberystwyth Arts Centre.
When retired farmer Dai Verse made his first appearance on the stage a few years ago, he talked wistfully about a vanished way of life and appeared to be a character who was living solely in the past. But there has been a change – verging on the seismic! Dramatic & unexpected events have forced him to take stock of everything and as a result he’s left the old farm, thrown away his cap and stick and enrolled on a course of higher education ‘to get a fresh perspective on life before it’s too late’.
Jez Danks tells the story of a man who has decided that it’s never too late to change – but will it be for the better?
Jez is a stori-wr, a story man, from Trefenter in Ceredigion. A musician, an artist, a man who speaks the language of story, as the folk poets spoke poetry in everyday conversation. He has told tales on many an occasion at the Arts Centre, and wrote the music for the film The Funeral of the Last Gypsy King. Jez doesn’t do Facebook.
A Fform Performance Night.
