"Good food is simple stuff –made from fresh, local and seasonal ingredients and our biscuits are full of it! Flowers, herbs, fruit, vegetables and of course Welsh cheeses. Welsh lavender and rosemary, leeks, beetroot, horseradish, even chillies and garlic all add to the provenance and genuine taste of our region"

Cradocs luncheon, cocktail and cheeseboard biscuits are packed with flavour. They've been designed carefully to complement cheese, tapenade, hummus, terrine, pates and just about anything which will pile up deliciously on the back of a substantial cracker.

Flavourful enough to eat just as a rather posh snack, or loaded with creamy Caws Cenarth Perl Las, dunked into home-made soups or simply with pre dinner drinks, Cradocs hit the spot.

It took ten years to generate a business idea which would tick all the boxes for former potter Allie Thomas, now owner/ baker at Cradocs Biscuits.

"I was looking for a niche product in the food industry, something which would be new to market but completely accepted as a well- established product. With so many brilliant cheese producers in Wales- I knew there would be a cheese connection and once we had fine tuned the recipes, we were on to a winner!

There are so many clever dairy-people making some of the best flavoured cheeses in Britain, right here in Wales.

We buy cheese often and in the past served them simply with walnuts or fruit – crackers just didn't do it for us; the idea to develop something special for Welsh cheeses seemed a natural step and it took ten years to identify this opportunity!

We incorporate nuts and fruit into our biscuits as well as flowers and herbs, or we offer the simplest water biscuit made from Welsh Rainwater. There is plenty of choice.

Men love or Perl Las and Walnut, and Leek and Caerphilly, two of the strongest flavoured biscuits we make, Chilies ginger and garlic are hot and spiteful biscuits and a big hit with men too – they go with beer, apparently!

The top sellers for ladies are Stilton and Cranberry, with Pear and Earl Grey (made to be twinned with fresh goats cheese) a close second.

There are ten luscious flavours and something to please everyone. The comment we enjoy hearing from our customers is a quiet "These are delicious biscuits. I must have some more." - as if their supply will be denied if they make too much noise about it ! But we want to shout from the roof tops- Cradocs make the best cheese biscuits from the best ingredients – come and get them!
