Double Ivor Novello Award-winning lyricist, Chris Difford, member of hit group Squeeze, has been writing and singing for over 30 years. Come and join him at Swansea Grand Theatre on Friday 8th June at 7.30pm.
Chris's 2012 show, 'It's all about me!', will consist mostly of new and old songs, from the early Squeeze hits to the present day and his well respected solo work. He tells the audience stories from his past using short films about his truancy at school through to his journey and success in the music industry.
All these years later, Squeeze are back on tour and in the studio, and meanwhile Chris is out on the road telling his story.
"I will lead each chapter of my life with appropriate song and banter. I hope to entertain people with the places I have been and embrace everyone with the luck that has fallen into my lap over the years."
Joining Chris will be the fantastic Norman Lovett, bringing his own inimitable style of stand up comedy. Possibly best known for his role as 'Holly', the ship's computer in the BBC hit sitcom Red Dwarf.
"A natural born comic ... his delivery is so deadpan, he makes Jack Dee seem like Ken Dodd ... few could ever match his subtle skill." - Edinburgh Evening News
Tickets for this hilarious evening of comedy and music are available from Swansea Grand Theatre's Box Office on 01792 475715 or can be reserved online at www.swanseagrand.co.uk and are £15.00 & £18.00.
