Indienne, seven designs in six colour stories, is an elegantly ethnic collection of Elanbach designs and co-ordinates edited by Regine Burnell and launched during London Design Week (Sunday 13th to Friday 18th March 2011).
Inspired by an array of beautiful tiles, textiles and artefacts during a visit to India, the collection exemplifies Regine Burnell's discerning taste when selecting sources for designs. The subtle harmony of pattern and soft sugared almond colours are well placed to add sophistication and intrinsic beauty to any interior scheme.
The signature design 'Jaipur' is an elegant orchid and flowing leaf motif. Cochin, Jodhpur, Chennai and Agra are ikat inspired patterns of interlocking diamonds and chevrons. Kerala is a medium-scale filigree made from a myriad of tiny leaves and Pondicherry, a small floral motif reminiscent of an embroidery.
All Elanbach fabrics are available in a choice of cotton satin, bleached cotton/linen mix or natural cotton/linen mix. Prices range from £31.66 to £41.87 per metre.
A Note on Elanbach Bespoke Colouring:
All designs in the Elanbach range are available for recolouring, with no minimum order. Elanbach can offer this service at an industry-leading price due to their considerable research and investment in the latest printing technologies.
The offices and production units for Elanbach are based in the grounds of Llangoed Hall, a country house hotel renovated by the late Sir Bernard Ashley. The hotel is situated on the banks of the river Wye in Mid Wales with views over the Black Mountains. It is a showcase for Elanbach fabrics. Both the public rooms and the bedrooms are individually decorated with antique furniture and artwork. Elanbach designs are chosen by Regine Burnell to complement the décor and are co-ordinated in the Elanbach style.
Elanbach offers a wide range of printed fabrics, wallpapers, accessories and homeware products in a variety of designs, all made in Wales. Its bespoke printing service allows customers a truly personal service to create new colourways and re-scale designs, with no minimum order. The company finds inspiration for its collections in historical documents and textiles, recreating and recolouring decorative details to suit contemporary homes.
