King Street Gallery Carmarthen artist Charlotte Leadbeater is having an exhibition of exciting transcendent colour works of dance figures in movement, within architectural spaces, in the Coningsby Gallery, Tottenham Street,  London,  from July 23rd – July 28th, along with other drawings and paintings.

Also exhibiting will be the well known artist Andrew Douglas Forbes with his haunting paintings of musical and misty London themes, and famous Russian sculptress and maker of precious stone mosaics, Olga Alexeeva with her timeless sculptures of the dance from St Petersburg, including Vaslav Nijinsky in 'L'Apres Midi d'Un Faun'.

Charlotte and Olga have long been associated with the Kirov and ballet world, having exhibited together in Russia and London many times, and recently in St Petersburg Central Library.

These long time friends are passionate about the need for art to transcend and export the individual to a magic place far from the humdrum experience and the ever-present ugliness of the battle for survival.

The theatrical themes tie in to create an environment of excitement and glamour, magic and lyrical painting to excite the eye.

At the Private View, Sunday 22nd July at 3.00 – 7.00 pm, also as an acclaimed tenor, Andrew will sing some Russian classical songs. All are welcome including children.
