Considered by many to be Gogol's best work, Diary of a Madman, is set in St Petersberg, among the petty repressed Tsarist Russia.

Directed by Sinead Rushe (Olivier Award nominee) this one man show, performed by Robert Bowman (Sherman Cymru, Bristol Old Vic, RSC) is a timeless piece that explores the human condition when it comes face to face with it's own mortality.

Popping out for a quick saunter around the block sounds easy to achieve, but if you have a mental or physical illness or disability, even getting to the start of a walk can be a challenge.

A forum organised in Pembrokeshire recently by West Wales Action for Mental Health brought a range of organisations together which deliver a recognised therapeutic service, including Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority's successful Walkability project.

The Authority's Walkability Officer, Paul Casson, attended the event and said: "There is now much more acceptance of the benefits of walking from a range of organisations, which is evident with the Authority being invited to speak at this local mental health forum.

With castles, forts, beaches and trails on the doorstep, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is the place to try something new this half-term.

On your own or with the family, come to an activity or event in the National Park Authority's great selection taking place in the park or at one of the Authority's sites at Carew Castle and Tidal Mill, Castell Henllys Iron Age Fort or Oriel y Parc Gallery and Visitor Centre.

The Park Authority's Discovery Team have put together over 40 events, including day discovery walks, castle and Iron Age fort activities and bats in palaces, with information now available on a downloadable app.

An award-winning green partnership which has proved a huge success over the past four years is being extended with the signing of a new 12-month agreement.

While housing association Cartrefi Conwy were carrying out a £30m housing improvement programme, they worked closely with community co-operative organisation Crest Co-operative, based in Llandudno Junction.
