Mid Wales Opera, in partnership with Gregynog Hall, present a unique opportunity to join in the centenary celebrations of Benjamin Britten's birth. This short residential course will give those who know Britten's operatic works the chance to explore them in depth, and offer those who are less familiar the opportunity to learn about one of Britain's greatest composers, from those who knew and worked with him.
This inspiring course will also give the public a rare opportunity to enjoy the general splendour and beautiful surroundings of Gregynog Hall in the stunning Mid Wales countryside: a place visited by Britten himself, where Peter Pears performed with harpist Osian Ellis in 1972.
