The recent inaugral Great British Food Farm Produce Competition attracted over 300 entries from across the British Isles. Daffodil Foods from Pwllheli entered their Luscious Layered Timperley Rhubarb. With strong competition form many yougurt makers Daffodil Foods was awarde the Runner up Award.
The Grerat Briitsh Food Magazine commented ” we celebrate the very from Kentish hops and Scottish salmon to heritage fruits and and as a result our judges took the taste and provenance of each entry very seriously, as well as awarding points for packaging and overall appearance. All of our winners are right at the top of their game, both in terms of fantastic flavour and their dedication to local sourcing.”
Lynne King, Director of Daffodil Foods after the award was presented said “”We are delighted to win our first ever award for our new yogurts made from local Welsh milk and Welsh cream along with British rhubarb.”
