This well established company was bought by Jon Lougee in the spring of 2008, and it is his enthusiasm for Welsh produce that drives the company forward to meet the ever increasing demand for quality food, realistically price, and delivered at a time to suit the customer.

Jon, previously a gamekeeper in Northamptonshire is passionate about food, and the traceability of the products he sells, as he said "When I was `keepering I looked after my birds from poults to the table.  My wife, Janet, who was brought up in Wales always told me that Welsh was best, and now I have to admit that she is correct!  I want my Team to sell with pride, know where the product comes from, and are themselves satisfied with the quality."

To achieve Jon's ambition the modern food production premises in Felin Fach, near Lampeter are undergoing a major investment and refurbishing programme, and the dedicated staff now have the opportunity to increase their skills and knowledge by participating in a range of recognised courses that are as diverse as bacon curing to higher qualifications in food handling and cooking. Their already famous faggots are entering this year's True Tastes of Wales Food and Drink Awards.

Delivered in refrigerated vans the product range grows almost by the day, and includes organic and traditionally reared meats, game and poultry, cheeses, flour, preserves and charcuterie.  Furthermore if a customer wants something not currently stocked Aeron Bacon and Fine Food Ltd will do all they can to find it, preferably local and of course Welsh!
