Our specialist cheddar company was established in the World Heritage town of Blaenafon in South Wales. The company is owned and run on a day to day basis by Susan Fiander-Woodhouse.

Susan came to the cheese industry in 1998 when she became the new product development executive for Abergavenny Fine Foods. This post involved the creation of new cheeses such as Boddingtons beer with pickle and Scrumpy Jack cider with apple blended into mild cheddars to name but a few. Her role involved conception, design, shelf life trials through to product launch. Her creations have won many awards in the UK and USA. Two years ago she changed roles and became the quality assurance executive.

As an integral part of the team Susan achieved the following accreditations:

BRC (British Retail Consortium - leading trade association)

Organic soil accreditation

HACCP
