The Art at Waunifor End of Summer Exhibition 2016 is the ninth annual Exhibition and will be from Saturday 20 to Monday 29 August this year, with a fabulous display of recent work from over thirty local artists.
We are delighted to welcome new faces exhibiting their work with us for the first time, alongside artists who have participated regularly over the years.
The work on show will include contemporary and traditional paintings, prints, ceramics, fused glass, textiles, handmade paper, books and an eclectic mix of ‘art crafts’.

Sculpture and 3D Art
Over the years, we have sought to provide a different experience for our regular visitors by raising the profile of a different art form in each exhibition. On this occasion, we have chosen to highlight sculpture and have selected a number of highly talented local artists, who have created a fascinating mix of work employing a range of techniques and media. This includes forged and welded metal, wirework, bronze, felting wool, woodcarving, paper origami, ceramic forms, mixed media and papier maché.

David Small, Waunifor’s resident ceramic artist, will be working in his studio during the exhibition. His work is for sale and will be on display inside and outside the studio, situated behind the Mansion House. Visitors are invited to watch him in action on the wheel, creating stunning earthenware ceramics including traditional kitchenware, garden pots and fountains.
